Time Capsule Virtual Teacher PD

Virtual Teacher PD, a 4-5 hour professional development workshop led by a professional GIS instructor along with qualified staff.  This themed topic will be a Time Capsule created in a Story Map Journal.  This engaging GIS lesson to introduces participants to cutting edge Geographic Information System (GIS) technology through project-based learning.   

The virtual sessions (using Zoom) are K-12 educational and technology-based.  You will leave with knowledge to bring back to your classroom and students; and curriculum material that will fit into current content.  

We are offering the workshop on a weekly basis.

For example:

Session 1 - Saturday, 1 pm to 2:30 pm

 Participant will engage in 2-3 hours of independent work to prepare for Session 2. 

Session 2 - Wednesday, 10 am to noon

 Participant will engage in 2-3 hours of independent work to prepare for Session 3.

Session 3 - Saturday, 1 pm to 2 pm Wrap up~

One to One assistance with 2020 Time Capsule as needed in between virtual sessions will be available.
